Review polynomial definition
⭐ All polynomials can be factorised into a product of degree 1 polynomials or irreducible degree 2 polynomials

Partial Fraction Decomposition

• A rational function is a quotient of two polynomials $f(x)=\frac{P(x)}{Q(x)}$

Review: Partial Fractions

• Denominator has an irreducible factor of degree 2: $\frac{f(x)}{(x-a)(x^2+bx+c)}=\frac{A}{(x-a)}+\frac{Bx+C}{(x^2+bx+c)}$
