Unit Overview:
- Mechanics is a branch of physics related to force, matter and motion
- Kinematics is the study of motion
- Focus on objects moving significantly less than the speed of light

- Statics lab (Wk5-6)
- Predict the failure load if a truss bridge
- Dynamics lab (Wk8-11)
- Shoot a rocket (aka coke bottle) into space (aka ~50 m into the air) and model its path
